Clair Pease

Clair Pease grew up in the construction business and began as a painting contractor for new construction and commercial developments. Her strong work ethic and professional results soon helped her to become the assistant superintendent and superintendent for the Guest Quarters Hotel in historic Charlotte, North Carolina and L.C. Tyson Construction respectively.

Pease utilized her experience to establish her own construction business in 1980 and began building single family homes in master planned communities that quickly became noticed.

Pease was responsible for building the first all-woman Habitat for Humanity home while in Charlotte, a home that earned her an invitation to Washington D.C. by President Carter to build 20 houses in five days.

Pease was drawn to the Gulf Coast in 1997 and has been heavily involved in the area’s evolution into a first-class destination for residents and vacationers. Her  experience and vision helped to create the Grand Panama Beach Resort, a model master-planned community along the white sand beaches of Panama City Beach.
